One of the reasons i enjoy living on the east coast is for the amazing seasons of fall and spring.  As we slip into another fall, i wanted to share some pictures of an amazing sunset we had the other day.....

Not being one that's too proud of a lot of American History, there is one part that will always have a soft spot in my heart:  Our role in the history of computing.  Yesterday Fran and I decided to go see the American History Museum in what was it's final day before undergoing a two-year internal face-lift (or tummy-tuck).  Skipping past most things we headed to the History of Computing exibit.  As soon as we stepped onto the exhibit floor i turned into one of those obnoxious 12-year-olds running around....pushing and shoving....making sure that me, and only me, could see each exhibit.  it was a bit over crowded....snacks a bit over priced...but well worth the chaos to see things like the original Apple, TRS-80, Altair 880, Original IBM XT, Commodore64, and many others...

Are there any snacks, food or candy that are no longer made that you desperately miss?

I'm not sure if this counts, but when i lived in Mexico they didn't have Reese's PeanutButter cups or Dr.Pepper soda...and i desperately wanted those...but then i moved back to the states, so like i said, i don't think that counts.

wondering around the expo floor last week, someone handed me a tin of BAWLS Mints....i have never had them before.....it's nice to get a burst of caffeine w/o killing my stomac in the late afternoon with coffee....and they tast fizzy...

The only down side of these:  Yesterday, when i discovered i had them, i forgot they were caffeinated, and started to pop them in my mouth....by the time i realized what i had done, i could have ran the 23mi home from work!

it initially doesn't seem like much, but if you play with it long enough you can come up with some really cool projects surrounding the TiddlyWiki...
